Spring Sing: Join in the Dance! 4/29/2018
Time: 7:30 PM to 9:15 PM

The CSI Music Department is delighted to present the annual Chamber Choir Spring Sing on Sunday, April 29. This year’s concert is titled “JOIN IN THE DANCE!” and includes guest appearances by the CSI Madrigal Ensemble and CSI Dance Composition class. Featured choral works include “She Walks in Beauty” by Daniel Gawthrop, The New Colossus by Kevin A. Memley, “Masquerade” by Andrew Lloyd Webber from the iconic Phantom of the Opera, “This is Me” from the recent box-office hit musical The Greatest Showman, and “Join in the Dance” by Paul Aitken. Most of the compositions presented in this year's concert are written by living composers, including two Idaho composers: Dr. Paul Aitken, who is Director of Music and Worship Arts at Cathedral of the Rockies in Boise, and Twin Falls resident Daniel Gawthrop, who is perhaps best-known for Sing Me to Heaven, one of the most performed and recorded choral works in modern history. Admission to the concert is FREE, but donations to the CSI Music Department Scholarship Fund are always appreciated.
