Patriot''s Night 7/2/2015
Time: 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM

Patriot’s Night will feature a display of the 70 fallen soldiers from the state of Idaho in the foyer of the Fine Arts Auditorium which can be viewed from 6:00 p.m. until the beginning of the program which begins in the auditorium stage at 7:00p.m.   Colors and anthem will be posted and sung. Video and musical presentation will be presented by the Patriotic Rock Band Madison Rising. The band is based in the east but travels throughout the country during most of the year to events which usually have military and veteran themes. They are wildly known for their rendition of the Star Spangle Banner which is "rock and roll" in nature. They are popular with the younger generation of veterans, Nascar and sportsmen because of their musical contributions to Outdoor Channel’s Amazing America starring Sarah Palin. Their subtitle is Music With A Meaning” as their music references military and patriotic themes and words. The lead singer, Dave Bray is himself as well as his brother and father former naval veterans.  There will be a memorial tribute to the most local soldiers, Sgt Chris Workman KIA Helmed Province, Afghanistan 04-19-12 and Sgt. Daniel Brown 03-22-12 midway through the musical presentation. Kalie Wright will M.C. the evening. Keynote speakers are pending.  Patriot’s Night is a fundraising event for the Sgt. Chris Workman Memorial Scholarship Fund, Inc. The Scholarship Fund, which was established in 2012 by the family and friends of Chris Workman, to assist high school graduates, continuing college, and military individuals with their goals of higher or continuing education.
